Firstly, apologies for not writing sooner to thank you for the valuable contribution that you and your band made to making our evening such a success.

Having never heard of Jazz Atmosphere and just sticking a pin in the Yellow Pages, I will admit that it was with slight trepidation that I telephoned you to ask availability of the band for our cocktail party. From the outset I was struck by your willingness to accommodate in any way to making the evening the success that it was.

So it is with pleasure that I enclose the letter of recommendation and hope that it may bring a successful outcome.

We have heard from Mr Claude Alexander that he has applied to your Board of Directors to consider one of his Jazz ensembles for a residency and would like to provide a letter of reference on his behalf.

As you are probably aware, we hired Mr Alexander to provide a jazz quintet to play at our company’s cocktail party which was held at the Little Ship Club on the 22nd May 2002.

From the outset we were impressed by Mr Alexander’s pleasant, professional attitude, his willingness to accommodate us with his service in any way to ensure that our evening was as successful as he could possibly make it.

Mr Alexander guided us as to the choice of musicians and selection of music and judging by the positive response that we had from guests and company members our trust in his expertise was well founded.

We have no hesitation in recommending Jazz Atmosphere Music for this residency and would most certainly employ their services again at our functions in the future.
