REFERENCE FOR JAZZ ATMOSPHERE

The 47th Regiment Royal Artillery held their annual Officers’ Mess Christmas Party on Sat 13 Dec 03.  During dinner, Jazz Atmosphere entertained the party.  The band arrived immaculately attired in Black Tie and played delightfully.  The group we requested was comprised of Claude Alexander, the leader and pianist, and a double bass player and saxophonist.  Their repertoire consisted of light contemporary jazz.  The band was so popular that 47th Regiment Officers’ Mess have invited them back to play at a Ladies Guest Night in March.  Furthermore, the Commanding Officer enjoyed the music so much, he has asked for them to play at the Summer Ball.  Jazz Atmosphere offers a relaxed and stylish alternative to the usual string quartet, which can become monotonous after a while.  I highly recommend them for any mess function.
